Manaskriti Foundation was founded to make emotional wellbeing and life skills easier to reach across Northeast Indian communities. We work alongside young people, families and local groups, listening first and building programmes around the everyday realities they live in.
Our work connects personal wellbeing with the skills, awareness and local development that help communities thrive together.
Life-skills education
Practical learning in communication, decision-making and self-care for students and young people.
Community awareness
Open conversations in schools and neighbourhoods that make it easier to talk about mental wellbeing.
Rural development
Outreach that reaches rural areas, supporting local initiatives that strengthen everyday wellbeing.
How we work
Community-led and culturally rooted
We respect local traditions and lived experience, and design our work together with young people, schools and community institutions rather than for them.
Partnerships with local organisations help us reach people where they already gather, in the languages they speak every day.
